Babar Is Now On 2nd Position In T20I Ranking 2021:
Pakistani captain Babar Azam is now ruling the World and showing his class by his batting. He's been outstanding since 2018 and he is unstoppable in scoring runs against every team whether it is S.E.N.A or any other team. He has now achieved another milestone of reaching again on 2nd position in the T20I ranking as ICC updated their ranking a few hours ago.
Babar Azam has been on the top of the table in 2020, but in September 2020 England's Batsman David Malan dethroned Babar Azam from the top position in the T20I. But now he is again in outstanding form and also scored his maiden century in twenty-20 International against South Africa in the recent series in April-2021. And now again he's got a chance to overtaking Malan as he is on the top with 892 points.
As per the latest update by ICC, Azam has now moved from 3rd to 2nd position with 844 points, by overtaking Australia’s captain Aaron Finch.
Babar Azam had a great series against South Africa as he ended the series as the highest run-scorer. He scored brilliant 210 runs with an average of 52.50 in 4 matches. And he scored a maiden century as well during the
series.
If Babar Azam succeed to again overtake England's Malan in the T20 rankings, it would be the second time that he would sit on top of the table.
Babar Azam also dethroned Indian captain Virat Kohli a few days ago, and now has become
the top-ranked ODI batsman in the world. Azam is now sitting on top of the table of the ICC's ODI
batsman rankings with 865 points and Kohli is at 2nd position with 857 points.
